Marketing Leeds is the city's strategic marketing organisation, working to raise the regional, national and international profile of Leeds. In April 2012, the company will expand, bringing together a wide range of functions and services previously provided by Locate in Leeds, Visit Leeds and Conference Leeds. Under the leadership of Lurene Joseph, currently Chief Executive of the London Development Agency, Marketing Leeds will deliver a proactive inward investment strategy for the city and take forward programmes and initiatives that attract new investment and jobs to ensure Leeds achieves its ambition to be the best city in the UK.
