Leeds Rugby is the world's first dual code Rugby partnership. Formed in 1998 to twin the 110-year old Leeds Rhinos Rugby League team and the Leeds Tykes Rugby Union team (formed in 1992), the company has enjoyed considerable success. Both teams play at the Headingley Stadium Complex and compete in the very top of their respective leagues with both locally produced players and world class stars from overseas. Rugby plays a large part in the lives of many Leeds citizens and the continual growth of the city offers an excellent profile for the teams.
