LS1 is four years old and began trading from a railway arch on The Calls in July 2001, with two employees and a mission to challenge the way that estate agents were perceived in both image and standards of service. The company has proved to be genuine innovators and has experienced rapid growth. LS1 is now one of the top three companies operating in this sector, employing 25 people. They have three offices in Leeds and have recently opened a sister company M1 in Manchester. They have a substantial rentals and property management portfolio and were responsible for housing the biggest relocation project in Europe here in Leeds at the beginning of 2004. The business has grown to now include sales, both off-plan and re-sale, and interior design amongst the services on offer to their clients. The city has fantastic potential and city living is here to stay, with 12,000 city centre apartments due to be completed by 2008. That's both a fantastic opportunity for LS1 and a great opportunity for Leeds to establish itself as a leader in urban regeneration and an innovator in the way cities operate in the future.

Awards/Accolades

Appointed to work with Crosby (North) the developers of Clarence Dock, to support them in ensuring this became a successful waterside development, which was part of regenerating a unique but derelict area of the city. This partnership has been so successful that Crosby (North West) have created a similar association with LS1 at the Greenquarter development in Manchester, the largest residential development in Europe.
