The £500m city centre development in Leeds has been designed in line with Leeds City Council's vision for a spectacular boulevard gateway entrance from the M1 and M62 motorways into the city centre. It will be based around a central plaza, forming a green oasis the size of a football pitch, in the heart of the city. A 36-storey tower will form part of a sharp and iconic skyline across Leeds. The southern entrance to the city will be regenerated into a visionary destination where people can work, rest, eat and play. City One will create up to 10,000 jobs and will form a central part in connecting the regenerated areas of Holbeck Urban Village and beyond, into the city centre through walkways.
