Leeds Trinity University College
Leeds Trinity was established as a Catholic Teacher Training College in 1966, and Education is still a big part of what it offers, but it also has thriving faculties offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in media, business, journalism, sports, psychology and humanities. Leeds Trinity ensures all its students get a taste of the workplace and all its degrees come with a professional placement as standard, which means that students get to explore their career aspirations, and get a good measure of how the job market operates before they graduate.

With nearly 3,000 students on its campus in Horsforth, made up of people from a wide range of faiths and cultures, it retains a community atmosphere which provides a supportive and friendly environment to help people realise their full potential.

In July 2009 Leeds Trinity was granted the powers to award its own Taught Degrees (previously the University of Leeds awarded them). This means that Leeds Trinity can now design and approve its own degree programmes and award its own degrees, supporting the growth of the city and giving people high level skills.
